YACHT CHARTERS - LATHAM ISLAND - TANZANIA
Getting there
Latham Island is situated 30Nm south east of Dar Es Salaam. International flights from Johannesburg arrive and depart every day. Flights from and back to Europe are available a couple of times a week.
Package
Yacht charter packages are available from 5 nights or longer and can include or exclude International flights. Your stay aboard one of the yachts listed below includes full board and activities as outlined in each Yacht specifications listed below. Charters depart from and return to Dar Es Salaam.

Fishing
Fishing is provided while under way from Dar Es Salaam to Latham Island and around Latham Island by trolling lipped lures or while drifting in the vicinity of Latham Island by means of casting plugs or spoons, vertical jigging, drop shop or fly fishing. Standard rods, reels and lures are provided but you are welcome to take your own game or light fishing equipment or spinning gear and fly-fishing equipment.
The best time to fish this area is October through to February.
